Food Simplified.

One of the biggest debates we had within the project was that do keep to just sticking with canadian food to represent Canada and so on, however for Canda in particular we were struggling to come up with well known canadian dishes, it was a lot easier for USA and Mexico as there food is easily recognisable and relates to that part of the dish, such as mexican starters and USA main. I asked a few people ranging from a different audience from the ages of 10 to 70 if they could name any canadian dishes, I asked anything and not just desserts. a few mentioned soups however that was not so useful, a few mentioned american traditions such as Chips and Burgers but I'm not sure whether there just saying that as USA is right next to Canada, no one really mentioned any desserts and i want the audience to be able to recognise the food and be informed about the setting. So as a group we decided to not directly base certain foods to levels and just use popular foods in general, so for Canada we mentioned things such as ice cream, angel slices, chocolate mouse, cupcakes. Items of food which most people are aware of. Besides the introduction of a flag on the start of the dishes should help create a setting for the players.
