Canadian Chefs And Dishes Part 2

Taking a further look at the recipes on the website, one of the names that struck out a lot was that of Anna Olson who is host of the programme, she specialises as a pastry chef, therfore has a lot of recipes for Desserts, the only problem I had was do any of them sum up Canada, yes they are shown on Canadian TV and on the website but does not mean there necessary native to Canada, so I think more research is in order to find out if there popular dishes in Canada, anyway here are some of my favourite recipes' What I'm looking is the colour and texture of the desserts and how they could be used to represent Canada, such as the landscape, buildings and culture.

Creamy Peach Tart.

I really like the icing sugar texture and could represent snow really well, and the colour of the peaches really stands out among the white icing sugar, but what resemblance to peaches have to Canada, I'm thinking maybe something else such as bear footprints done in peaches. Or even just leafs on the floor. I could also use them as Stepping stones, and the icing sugar acts as kind of like quick sand.

Butterscotch White Chocolate Brownie Bites

Reasons why I like this is because when I look at this I'm seeing a Kind of mountain crumble with snow on the top which could work, Of they could be used as supports for a bridge which could look nice with the butter dip been where it could enter the lake, which is also butter
/cream.

The Best Blueberry Vanilla No-Bake Cheesecake

I really like this image as this could be the kind of like platform you walk on and I really like the blueberry texture in the centre, that could work well, in adding a little bit of colour and personality.

I then realised there was an awful lot of desserts so thought it would be a better idea to put them into a mood board for me to gain influence on, as Ive spent a lot of time talking but it would be more beneficial to get my ideas on paper, even if its just quick thumb nails for the time been it enables me and my team to visualise the potential level better.
